Valencia CF to face Cultural Leonesa in Copa del Rey
Valencia CF will play Cultural Leonesa in the Last 16 of the Copa del Rey, after being matched against the Segunda B side in the draw on Friday at the Ciudad de Fútbol de Las Rozas. Albert Celades' side are the holders of the cup after their triumph in 2019, and made their debut in this year's edition with victory over UD Logroñés.

The match will take place at the Estadio Reino de León, where Cultural Leonesa provided the upset of the torunament so far on Thursday night by beating Atletico Madrid. The new format of the competition means that every tie bar the semifinals are played over a single leg.

Not many precedents exist for matches between Valencia CF and Cultural Leonesa, who have met on just four occasions -all four coming between 1929 and 1956. VCF won two, drew one and lost one. They will cross paths next week in another mouthwatering Copa del Rey clash.
